What do you think of when you hear the words “professional development”?
Professional development is the additional training and education you receive once you have entered the workforce. You may wonder, how will conversations on art and creativity help your employees in the workplace? Believe it or not, Zamana Interactive guides all who participate to utilize analytical thought through an artistic framework, practice active listening, hone interpersonal skills, and build creative toolboxes.
As we analyze art within a chosen framework, we facilitate a dialogue between those participating. We practice creative thinking using abstract topics such as tension, movement, and reflection and relate them to our everyday lives. We learn more about our fellow team members and retroactively about ourselves by listening to the experiences of our peers. We gain knowledge both by challenging ourselves to interpret artwork from different perspectives and hearing others’ thoughts as well. We practice brainstorming and generate solutions by participating in creative exercises and having conversations surrounding collaboration, failure, lateral thinking, and mindfulness.
