Boston Based Photographer Fehmida Chipty looks for order and simplicity amidst the challenges and complexities of daily life. Whether her focus is a simple window or wall in her neighborhood or far off vistas in her travels around the world, Fehmida's photography is engaging and dynamic. She uses light and reflection, to represent the inherent beauty in nature and architecture. Light is her primary source of inspiration and destination; she uses light as an opportunity to see forward and beyond the present. Each image reveals an unexpected perspective and point of view.
Her work has been selected in several juried competitions including exhibits at the Mattatuck Museum in Waterbury, CT, the Griffin Museum in Winchester, MA, the Site: Brooklyn Gallery, in New York, NY, and the Plymouth Cultural Center.
